Smirnoff Equaliser x Spotify

Smirnoff found that just 17% of headliners at electronic music festivals, and 5% of international producers are women. That same year, we found that zero of the Top 10 artists on Spotify were female.

We worked with Smirnoff to create The Equaliser, a playlist generator that links to your Spotify account and analyses the last 6 months of your listening history by gender.

Whatever the outcome, listeners would be offered a more balanced playlist tailored to their taste profile, including a slider so users could lean more one way or the other.
